Hong Kong: Day 3 (17/12/2010)

Took bus no. 10 to Central and walked to Law Fu Kee Congee and Noodle Specialist at Central to have their famous congee for breakfast.

After  that we walked towards the Peak Tram Station, passed some other landmarks

Then we queue up and waited for the tram and there is no need to purchase a ticket as you can use your Octopus Card to enter and board the Peak Tram up to The Peak.

Finally we arrived on top of The Peak, and view of the HK Skyline was amazing.

After walking around and enjoying on top of The Peak, we decided to try out their Public Light Bus down.

Then we went to a very traditional cha chaan teng, Kum Fung Cafe at Wan Chai for a light lunch, to try out the Chicken Pie, Pineapple Bun with Butter, Cold Mixed Coffee and Milk Tea and Egg Tart.

Then we took a the Tram back to the hotel to charge up my camera!

After resting for awhile and charging up my camera, we took the MTR to Central and walked to the Central Pier to take the Star Ferry across to Kowloon and the Star Ferry we were on was Northern Star.

And we arrived at Kowloon, where we walked the Avenue of the Stars, and viewed the Symphony of Lights of the HK Skyline (from 2000 to 2020).

Lastly, we had our very late and filling dinner at Central, near the Mid-Valley Escalators called Ser Wong Fun Restaurant to have their Snake Meat Soup (which claims to heat up the body, which really does) and their Duck’s Liver and Lamb Claypot Rice, and we went back to the hotel to rest for the night. [Note: there is also a very good dessert shop beside this restaurant.]
